Tip: Use loads of bait ideally a combo of squid and lugworm

Tip: Put four or five worms on depending on the size of the Rag and with the squid cut long thin strips and hook on to one end leaving the rest to trail behind the hook.

Tip: Don't get your fingers caught in their mouths and watch out for the thorns on their backs. Use a towel or cloth to handle them if you don't have gloves.

Tip: Small strips of squid and small hooks work best. Also watch out for the spikes.

Tip: Can also be caught lure or fly fishing. When paddling around troll a lure behind the kayak and leave the drag on!

Tip: Watch out for the spikes! Use gloves or a cloth to handle if you have any of them to hand.

Tip: Hold the head and tail together in one hand when unhooking the fish as they move a lot and have sand paper skin. Also they throw up so expect half digested bait all over you and the kayak.
